Newly Opened MCC Codes - March 2005
The University of Pittsburgh Payment Processing department is pleased to announce additional approved uses for the PNC Purchasing Card (P Card) that will assist you in performing your duties more efficiently and effectively.
We have recently opened Merchant Category Codes (MCC) for subscriptions, publications, membership dues, and conference registrations.
Please be aware that some of the transactions for these types of payments may still be rejected. This is due to the MCC coding that VISA has assigned to the supplier. For more information, please contact Becky Marcej at rmarcej@bc.pitt.edu
