Employment
Verification
There are several reasons for which an employee may
need official verification of employment at the University of Pittsburgh.
The most common reasons are mortgage or loan applications. Depending on volume,
Payroll can usually provide this service in one or two business days.
Leave of Absence
Whether a leave of absence is paid or unpaid, Payroll
can directly bill the employee for continuation of medical benefits during
the period which the employee is not working. For more information and
the circumstances under which direct billing applies, call 412-624-8084.
W-2 and/or 1042S
Payroll can access current or prior year copies of W-2s
and/or 1042s if needed by the employee. Please allow two or three business
days to access these documents.
Payroll Deduction
