I. SCOPE
This policy establishes the membership and responsibility of the Provost’s Advisory
Committee on Undergraduate Programs.
II. POLICY
The Associate Provost for Undergraduate Programs serves as chairman of the Provost’s
Advisory Committee on Undergraduate Programs.
The Committee includes academic administrators, faculty, and student representatives
from all schools and regional campuses with undergraduate programs.
It is the responsibility of the committee to advise and make recommendations to the
Provost on matters relating to undergraduate education and student admissions, including:
- The quality of undergraduate instruction
- Interschool undergraduate programs
- Changes in one school which may affect others
- Relations with regional campuses
- New types of undergraduate instruction
The committee serves to monitor the overall quality of the undergraduate programs of
the University.
