Contracted Suppliers offer the best overall value to the University. This means that in addition to discounted prices, they offer excellent service, direct on-time and in most cases free delivery, an easy paperless ordering and payment process via the PantherBuy system, and other important contractual protections for the University. The Purchasing Department, with input from the University Community, evaluates the performance of these suppliers on a continual basis including formal reviews and scorecards. Many of our contracted suppliers also offer the same discounts to faculty, staff and students for their personal purchases. In order to demonstrate the University’s support for the local community, many of our contracted suppliers include local, Pennsylvania, and disadvantaged business suppliers.

Note: University Policy 05-02-15 requires the use of University-wide contracted suppliers if they are available for the products or services that you wish to purchase.
