The University of Pittsburgh is pleased to announce that it has reached a contractual agreement with ADDEN FURNITURE, one of the premier residence hall furniture manufacturers in the country.

This agreement includes all ADDEN FURNITURE products for residence halls & common areas, namely:

  1. Student room furniture (beds, mattresses, desks, chests, wardrobes, chairs, mirrors, etc.).
  2. Living area and Lounge/Lobby area seating and tables.
  3. Study area seating and tables.
  4. Custom, application-specific product, where modification to Adden’s standard product design is imperative for any of our campuses.


As a contracted supplier, ADDEN FURNITURE offers the University of Pittsburgh:

  1. 65% off list pricing, applicable to purchases of any quantity or value.
  2. Eliminates the need for competitive bidding on all orders over $5000.   Orders exceeding $5,000 will be placed directly with ADDEN FURNITURE by the Purchasing Department.
  3. A leading supplier of quality residence hall furniture for the higher education market.
