About Us
The mission of the Office of Risk Management is to implement and support a risk management strategy designed to protect the resources, staff, students, and reputation of the University. This strategy encourages each member of the University community to take individual responsibility for the creation of an environment enabling the achievement of the University’s primary goals – teaching, scholarship, community service and research.
Mission
- Risk Management works most closely with the departments of General Counsel, Facilities Management, Human Resources and Environmental Health and Safety to address safety, fire prevention/protection and accident prevention.
- Incidents involving personal injury and/or property damage are investigated by the Risk Management staff in conjunction with the responsible primary University department.
