Book Authorization
Book Authorizations are available for students who have financial aid that exceeds the amount of tuition and fees owed on their tuition account. A Book Authorization gives a student credit at the University Book Center or Health Book Center to purchase books and supplies.
Authorizations are only available before a refund has been generated on a student account.
Students:
- Determine the amount you will need for books and supplies.
- Contact the Student Payment Center to get a Book Authorization.
- Visit the University Book Center or Health
Book Center to establish an account with the amount.
You are limited to one book authorization per term. You are responsible for any charges in excess of the book authorization.
The Book Center will credit your student account with any unused funds from the Book Authorization about 30 to 45 days after the term begins. If your account is paid in full, that amount will be refunded to your Direct Deposit account.
